It’s a cold November night in
We take the first train into
Kathi helps us with our order as our German is a bit ‘rusty’ at the least. Suddenly I realize Quadrupelius is looking at the Menu, he is still, like he is not breathing. Not a reaction I would expect. I ask what the matter is but instead of an answer, he passes me the menu, pointing at the prices….3.70€ for a half a litter Weiss. In
That’s a fact for all of us back home to take into account next time they ask you for 6-8€ for the same amount of Weiss. Then we moved on to tasting an Augustiner Bräu Lagerbier Hell and an Augustiner Bräu Edelstoff, from Kellerareal at the Landsberger Strafe, where Augustiner Brewery stands since 1885. It is worth mentioning that the brewing water, which has outstanding drinking quality, is pumped up from a firm-own well at a depth of
The morning after, we woke up craving for a delicious Bavarian-style breakfast. The snow-covered
